PLAZTEC WELFARE CONVERSIONS.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR WORKFORCE.
If you have got a team of engineers out in the field and in the most remote places, a Pickup Systems converted welfare vehicle is the solution you need. Our welfare van conversions combine the convenience of portable messing facilities with an exceptional range of facilities as standard, along with a seating area that can transport multiple operatives to and from site.
Fully type approved, the vehicle goes through a rigorous quality control process before leaving our premises in Lancashire. Using our bespoke foamlite products, the vehicle offers many advantages including lighter construction allowing increased payload and fuel savings, long operational life, easy cleaning and disinfection and excellent impact and chemical resistance.
Pickup Systems offer 2 versions of their PLAZTEC WELFARE CONVERSIONS:
The lightweight option has the bulkhead, internal units and floor all manufactured from a lightweight foam centered polypropylene co polymer plastic. The floor is also anti slip, tested to DIN51097 & DIN51130. The walls and roof are 3mm polypropylene keeping the weight down. All the Work tops, sinks and the tabletop are manufactured from recycled Polypropylene.
The sustainable option this conversion will be fabricated from recycled LDPE plastic mainly plastic bottles which will be used for the walls, bulkhead and internal units and floor which is slip tested to BS7976-2:2002. Again, the sinks, worktops and tabletop will be manufactured from recycled PP plastic.
Plastic is durable will not rot or soak up liquids and easy to clean making it the ideal material for welfare vehicles.
